Geri, Doug and Wilmas' visit

Geri came to stay with us for a long weekend in August and it just so happened that Wilma and Doug were also over in Miri from KL for a work "do" as well. Howard and I thought it would be a good idea to take everybody on our usual cruise/crocodile hunting trip up the river. However the weather got the better of us this time! Torrential rain and a strong wind meant we didn't get very far but we did get very wet! We took shelter under a tree close to the bank but we still got soaked. These pictures don't really show just how wet we were but you get the picture..





However a cup of tea does help pass the time!

We also made them suffer the jeep..


But we did get dry enough to have lunch at the Boat Club.
