Day 28 Wed 24/5/17 We had a nice morning with Katy in her apartment with a quick trip out to get a nice bottle of Cava as a 31st birthday present for Louise. About 12:30 we all walked down to the metro station where Katy called a taxi for us. The taxi was definitely the way to get to the car park where we hit the road at 12:48 at 25C. We were swiftly on the autoroute and, apart from a quick stop for fuel and to pick up lunch, we just drove reaching Mark and Jayne at Benitachell just after 6PM.

On the way the temperature peaked at 29.5C and we paid EUR52 of tolls to use the AP7 peage whilst passing the 3000 miles mark for the trip. A great evening with Mark and Jayne with a BBQ dinner.
